On Arbor Day a group of local Healdsburgers spent their morning working with Don McEnhill, the Riverkeeper for the Russian River. The crew pulled out non-native species and added native plants to the banks. The workday is a part of multiple projects to cleanup the creek all the way from North Street to the five-way intersection at the south end of town.
I was raised here in Healdsburg and have watched the city grow and change for many years. Being an editor for this site gives me a great chance to give back to the community that's given me so much. I hope you enjoy the videos!
